BudgetSyncer has the highest respect for your privacy, and your information will be handled in a safe, secure and confidential manner. All transactions are handled encrypted and not shared with any third party partners. We only store the necessary data to access your bank accounts and YNAB budget. Upon request you will receive all your data. We will only store data as long as you are subscribed to our product.

Data we collect

We store your email address, YNAB OAuth tokens, and bank connection details necessary to sync your transactions.

How we use your data

We require read access to your bank and read/write access to YNAB. We do not store any transaction or financial data in our application. Your data is used solely to sync bank transactions to your YNAB budget. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Data storage

All data is stored securely in AWS (EU region). Bank connections are managed through the GoCardless Bank Account Data API.

We do not store any transaction data, bank account numbers, or other sensitive financial information. Transactions are read from your bank and forwarded directly to YNAB without being persisted on our servers.

Cookies & tracking

Data retention

We will only store your data as long as you are subscribed to our product. Upon cancellation, your data will be deleted. You may also request a full export of your data at any time by contacting us.
