How to sync BGL BNP Paribas transactions to YNAB

BGL BNP Paribas is one of the most searched banks among European YNAB users in Luxembourg. The budgeting method works — but keeping accounts current when your bank and YNAB do not talk to each other creates weekly friction.

YNAB does not offer Direct Import in Luxembourg at all. If you bank with BGL BNP Paribas and use YNAB, the default workflow is still manual: log into BGL BNP Paribas, download a CSV or OFX export, upload it to YNAB, and reconcile duplicates by hand.
